Terms of service
Terms of service
These terms describe what Buy in Argentina does, what it does not do, and what each of us can expect from the other. They are written to be read, not to hide anything.
1. Who we are
"Buy in Argentina", "we" and "us" mean the advisory service operated by MARSOFT S.A.S., a company organized under Argentine law (tax ID 30-71953246-9; Córdoba Public Registry of Commerce, registration no. 49282-A), with its seat in Córdoba, Argentina, reachable at hello@buyinargentina.com. "You" means the person using our website or our service.
2. What we do
We provide advisory and case management to people living abroad who want to buy property in the Province of Córdoba: we explain the process, understand what you are looking for, coordinate the professionals involved, translate and present information, and keep you informed at every step.
3. What we are not
- We are not a real estate brokerage. Under Córdoba Provincial Law 9445, brokerage is reserved to registered brokers. Every property transaction we assist with is intermediated and signed by an independent licensed broker (currently Yanina Pescetti, CPI no. 7286), who is the professional responsible for it and whose fees are agreed with you directly.
- We are not lawyers, notaries or tax advisers. Legal, notarial and tax work is performed by independent professionals (the notary, our partner accountant), who are responsible for their own advice and fees. Information on our website and in our conversations is general orientation, not professional advice.
- We do not handle your money. Deposits, prices and fees are paid by you directly to the seller, the broker, the notary or the accountant, never to us, unless a specific written agreement says otherwise.
4. Fees
The first conversation is free, with no obligation. If you go ahead, our fee and the fees of each professional involved are stated to you in writing before you reserve any property. You never owe us anything you have not agreed to in writing beforehand.
5. Your side
You agree to give us accurate information about yourself and the origin of the funds you intend to use, to provide the documents the process requires, and to make your own decision on whether to buy any property. Argentine anti-money-laundering rules oblige the notary and the broker to verify your identity and the origin of funds; we cannot proceed without that.
6. Information and estimates
Property descriptions come from sellers and brokers; we verify them through the broker and the notary but cannot guarantee them. Timelines and cost estimates are our best good-faith estimates and depend on third parties (sellers, banks, the tax authority). Nothing on our website is an offer to sell any property.
7. Liability
We are liable for our own service performed with reasonable care. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of sellers, banks, public offices or independent professionals, nor for decisions you take based on general information on our website. Where the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Your data
We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
9. Ending the relationship
You can stop using our service at any time by telling us. We can decline or stop a case if the information you give us is inaccurate, if the required verifications cannot be completed, or if continuing would breach the law. Fees already earned under a written agreement remain payable.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Before any formal step, we both agree to try to resolve any disagreement by talking to each other. Failing that, the ordinary courts of the City of Córdoba, Argentina, have jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer-protection rights that entitle you to sue where you live.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change. Changes do not apply retroactively to a service already agreed in writing.
